This depends on the amount of pressure used throughout your massage. Your therapist will check in periodically to ask how the pressure is. If you will be ok with deep pressure, you may be a little tender the next day.
If at anytime the pressure is too much, let your therapist know right away.

Not necessarily, to release a trigger point or “knot” the therapist may use pressure on that area, however, if the pressure is too much it will only cause your body to tense up which is the opposite effect that we would like during a massage.
